Using Log Book at work for a company is commercial use, and needs a license from the author. Write to m.jarnot@yahoo.com with your company's name and how many people would use it.
Everything else is free under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0:
- You may use, copy, change and share Log Book for any noncommercial purpose.
- Personal use counts when it is for study, research, experiments and testing, hobby projects or private entertainment, with no commercial application in view.
- Charities, schools and universities, public research, public safety and health organisations, environmental organisations and government bodies may use it, however they are funded.
- If you share a copy, changed or not, pass on the license terms, or their URL, and the license's
Required Notice:line.
It is not called open source, because the usual open source definitions do not let a license limit who may use the software or for what purpose, and this one does.
This page is a summary, not legal advice. LICENSE.md is the license.
